Technology has come a long way in the last few decades. From pure-energy thrusters, to artificial gravity, and faster-than-light travel, the dreams of our forefathers are being realized by the day. With advancing knowledge, and minds unbound, what limits does technology have?

Forcefield Generators are but a start. Featuring 29 unique blocks, for length and variation, Forcefield Generators are the ultimate solution to large-scale hangars. Forcefields prevent air from escaping a pressurized room, but allow solid matter to pass through. This allows for streamlined and uninterrupted hangars, pressurized passageways, vacuum conduits, and much more!

Features & Notes:
  • Large-grid only.
  • Low-profile design; does not interrupt ship aesthetic.
  • Clean opening; forcefield generators do not project visual effects.
  • Full LOD models.
  • Full construction models.
  • Supports the progression system.
  • Does not replace any vanilla blocks, textures, nor components.
  • No scripts; works like a hangar door block.
  • Should not conflict with any other mods.

The only known issue is that the forcefield generators do not close automatically. This can be solved by going into the grid's menu and closing them manually. This only needs to be done once.

To the two folks wanting a way to see if the door is open or closed: may I present to you --> Event controller tied to a light block, turn light red if open green if closed

@Nemui It's not a proper solution, but hook up a projector with a BP of a force field that comes on when the field is active.

I don't like that the force field is invisible. I can't tell if the force field is active without a visual effect over the field area

Still would be nice if there were a colour indicator for open or closed like the door's on/off mode.
Current green for safe (closed), red for unsafe (open)
