Realistic Dragon Armory

설명
Seventh mod in a series I'm working on that gives more realistic smithing recipes for armour and weapons. This pack includes all Dragon armours. All relevant perks required.

To fit with the theme of the realistic armory mods, I've reduced the weight of the dragon components:
Dragon Bone reduced from 15 to 5
Dragon Scale reduced from 10 to 3

Tempering has been rationalised to fit with the change in recipe such that Dragon Bone armour is improved with bones and Dragon Scale is improved with scales.

I've also boosted the stats to make them better equipment than Daedric, because lets face it, those milk drinkers from Oblivion wouldn't stand a chance against a dragon.

A challenge I faced with this mod relates to Light Armor types, given that the weight of the recipe components matches up relatively well with that of the final product. Any feedback on the balance of the Dragon Scale armours and their balance will be greatly appreciated leading up to continuing the series for Elven adn Glass armors

New Inclusions:
Increased value - 3X gold value

Another version of this armory that includes the weapons also can be located here: http://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=267100838
The mods don't conflict, however if you have both active at the same time the armors will be duplicated in the crafting list.

Yes you do

Do you need dragon smithing?

Thanks for the supportive feedback iQuit. I did note this issue with duplications in the description above. The DLC cersion of the mod pretty much supercedes the other.
Re pricing, this was changed in accordance with the icnrease in resource requirements and final defence values and in a consistent manner with the other mods in the series. Also, it's made from the corpses freaking dragons - the ones whose souls you've stolen. As the items can only be acquired by smithing the only $ cost is for parts which in the grand scheme are pretty reasonable, but if you've been hunting critters & dragons and mining ores you'll easily have the bits you need by the time smithing is at 100.

I use your DLC and non DLC mod. I have two sets of armor available for smithing. One with "reasonable" pricing and the one from this mod with x3 pricing. There is no difference in the receipes, nor in weight (takes the oine of DLC into account, so this mod). The unreasonable pricing is kinda hard to reason with (lore). A full set cost as much as a castle. You might rethink this and also kill the redundancy with using both mods. Though if you are still in with bugfixing. Anyway thank you very much for your "Realistic" Series. I just love the Realistic Glass Armor. Cheers

Can't say for sure, I'd imagine that the load order would affect it - i.e. which ever is loaded last will take effect. Test it and let me know what you find - will be good to have it documented

So I have a mod that makes the bones and scales weigh 0. will this conflict?

Smithing and improving Dwarven bows I find to be the most effective. Dwarven and iron ingots are easy to come by.

Any recommendations for ways to lvl up smithing quickly other then the dagger way

It requires all relevant perks, it does note this in the description. You've got to hunt dragons and get smithing to 100 for these to become available.
