Sorry for the audio quality. You hold L-Ctrl And middle mouse each turret base then simply go to the saved designs button, and apply the turret design you want to use. Sorry if this is already public knowledge but after my couple hundred hours I only just figured it out.

"after a couple hundred hours I only just figured it out" is the Avorion ship designer in a nut shell.

I spend the first hundred hours trying to get thrusters to do the job of gyro blocks. That was way back in beta though.
