(BNW) General Heroics

Descrição
This mod substantially improves the Heroic Epic national wonder. Although it now costs more Production to complete (150 hammers instead of 120), the new bonuses are well worth the effort.


HEROIC EPIC CHANGES:


* The Morale promotion now affects ALL units in the player's empire, even those who were trained earlier.
* A Great General is born in the city where the Heroic Epic was composed.
* After a writer fills its Great Work slot, the Heroic Epic grants +30 XP to all melee units trained in the city where it was composed.

NEW IN THIS VERSION:


* Reduced the Great General's culture-bomb radius back to 1; it's apparently hard-coded.
* Added the free-XP-on-completion bonus from Machiavelli's "Cities of Marble" mod.

WARNING:


* This mod requires the Brave New World expansion pack. I have no plans to release any other editions.
* This mod blocks both "Cities of Marble" and Kevin's "Global Morale", since they provide similar bonuses.

The XP just doesn't Happen. I've tried this mod with 3 new games. The XP is not happening after the Writer slot is filled. Do you know what types of mods may conflict? I'm playing with BNW with a lot of Mods. My previous comments was from the first use of this mod and I just assumed is was working. Is it possible to eliminate the slot fill, just make it automatic upon intial build?

I like the idea of this mod. But why is only the melee units given the XP? Heroism is displayed in all specialties of combative units. Planes, ships, tanks, etc. I'd like to see it applied to all units. It's not unfair at all. All civs can build this national wonder.

Unmodded HE has a great lit slot.
Also: Grabbing 18 tiles is waaaay too much.

Will consider the XP boost for next version...and BTW, I wasn't sure whether the unmodded Heroic Epic had a Great Work slot when I coded one in.

maybe hero epic should give xp if its gw slot is filled, just like the assyrian lib

like Toheck says heroic epic already doeshave one slot

having 2 slots doesnt realy fit
perhaps instead you get bonuses if the work is from your civ (like a synergy bonus but just for one work)

I think the heroic epic already provides a literature slot.
