TASOMACHI: Behind the Twilight is a beautiful adventure game with 11 Steam achievements and many collectibles. In this guide I'll show you the location of each one, as well a short description of where to find them.

Relevant Information:
  • You can change the game language on third option in main menu.
  • Pick all the coins you find and save them for later (see the 'Collectibles: Furnitures and Outfits' section). They respawn everytime you leave the town.
  • On the puzzles inside the Tree Santuaries, there will be an option to spend 20 coins to skip them. I suggest to not spend those coins, as the puzzles are easy and guided, and you'll need a bunch of coins for shopping.
  • Also in those puzzles there will be a source of earth unaccessible at first; don't mind it as you'll need to come back later and it will be available.

  • All achievements listed below should unlock naturally with story progression.
  • The main objective is to complete the challenges on all Sacred Tree Sanctuaries in each town to restore them.
  • Try getting only the ammount of sources of earth necessary to progress to the next town, so you can advance the story as fast as possible. You'll need to come back anyway as many sources of earth are not accessible in the first time you visite a town.
  • The puzzles are easy to solve, but if you want, you can try following the guide below:

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2472811687

In the Beginning Restore Silent Valley.
Beautiful Port Town Restore Shiokaze Harbor.
Bustling Town Restore Futago Bridge.
Gorgeous City Restore Gengetsu Lakeside.
Wings of Freedom Repair the airship in the Ring Sanctuary.
The Journey Ends Clear the Twilight Sanctuary.
  • After completing the game, return to the map that required 150 sources of earth to be unlocked, and complete the challenge.
  • This time, you must destroy all 60 corrupted sources of earth in 214 seconds!
  • This can be a bit tricky, but I suggest you to clear the lower level first, and then the higher one.
DO NOT keep going up and down as this consumes too much time.
  • Also, try doing this before going for the remaining collectibles, as beating this challenge is needed to get one of the outfits.
  • Good luck!

Your Aim is True Destroy all corrupted Sources of Earth.
  • There are 244 sources of earth in total. Many of them are only accessible after completing the game, as you unlock fireworks and bombs in your airship. In every town you'll see big archs that you have to go through with it to unlock a source of earth. Also, everytime you see a dark grey rock, shoot it with the fireworks and destroy all the vases inside to get another source of earth.

  • You also need to complete many different quests for the cute live beings you'll find in the towns.
  • Search bushes, inside buildings, in wall edges, and so on. If you find a glow blue light lying around, follow it till the end of the course, as there you'll find yet another source of earth.

  • The maps I'll post below are available in the game; you can buy them for 50 coins each.
They probably do not count for the 'furniture' achievement, so do not buy them unless you've completed / bought everything else and are still missing it.
  • The stats are also available, but the descriptions only appear after finding the sources of earth. So I think sharing them can be of help, as you'll have a hint of where to look.

A Full Bag Collect all Sources of Earth.

Silent Valley

Shiokaze Pier

Futago Bridge

Gengetsu Lakeside

  • There are a total of 21 notes scatered through the towns.
  • Some are only accessible after collecting a specific ammount of sources of earth.
  • They're hard to miss, but I suggest following the section 'What Happened Here?' in the following guide to keep track of them.

https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2562678455
What Happened Here? Read all of the notes found around town.
  • In each town you'll find some buildings where you can buy 23 furniture items and 6 outfits.
    They are:

    • Shiokaze Pier: The Library
    • Futago Bridge: The School
    • Gengetsu Lakeside: The Inn
    • The map '?' (Needs 180 sources of earth to unlock.)

  • I suggest doing what I've mentioned before:

    1. Save as many coins as you can (I think 550 should be enough)
    2. Backup your save files at 'AppData\Local\tasomachi\Saved\SaveGames'
    3. Buy all furniture
    4. Load your save (disable Steam Cloud)
    5. Buy all outfits

  • For this to work, shopping must be the last thing you'll do in the game, as some furniture and outfits are only available after collecting all 244 sources of earth.
  • If you need more coins, you can easily get them in Silent Valley, where there are 5 coins really close to each other. Pick all 5 coins, go to the '?' map, immediately leave, and repeat.

Shopaholic Buy all available furniture.
Favorite Outfit Buy all available clothes.

I couldn't find the answer to the teleport puzzle at Gengetsu Lakeside Sanctuary 5 anywhere and I hope this comment helps someone in the future who is looking and to save them the struggle I had.
One combination is Right, Forward, Forward, Right, Forward.
Another one is Forward, Left, Left, Right, Forward.
