The Last of Us Death Screen for Garry's Mod
The mod currently doesn't work. The recent update broke it



Did you like the cool death fade-out effect from The Last Of Us games? This mod aims to re-create that effect, along with some enhancements from the original (Once, deleted) mod!

Usage

Subscribe to the addon, boot up Garry's Mod, and you're good to go! However, if you'd like to tinker with the mod, there are some ConVars you can play with.

if the console isn't your thing, you can now configure (Most of these) through the spawnmenu under Options -> TLOU Death Screen

Hints (NEW)



To enable hints, type
tloudeath_hints 1
in the console, then get killed by something.

There is also a "Part II" style of hints you can try by typing
tloudeath_hints_mode 2
this can be undone with
tloudeath_hints_mode 1

This addon works perfectly fine, I disabled all of my addons expect this one to see if it works fine, and it worked. Then i enabled all of my addons i have and guess what it still works.

In the meantime, everyone, use the other TLOU death mod that's popular on the workshop. That's probably the more improved one anyway TBH. I'm not that focused on gmod modding.

i want this with first person deaths, so making the camera effect toggable would be nice
