Croak'n'Roll, baby! When you die, play as a random heir, instead of always playing as your primary heir!
Also includes gamerules to always play as the underdog that gets the smallest domain, or as the top dog that got the best out of the partition!
Includes a 2nd gamerule with 7 different settings to handle how gold gets distributed between heirs.

Inherichance is a Mostly Mechanical Mod that randomizes who the player heir gets to be when the player character dies.
Compatible with any mod that doesn't mess with the Succession event window and Lineage window.

A new Partition inheritance game rule will let you enjoy your Crusader Kings 3 however you like it best!

Vanilla
You want to play with the vanilla rules, and always play as the Primay Heir like Paradox intended you to? Well you won't ever need to deactivate the mod for that, so you can keep it in your playset forever!

Alea Jacta Est
Players are cursed with the knowledge of who they'll get to play once theit character hits the bucket. With the Alea Jacta Est rule setting, no more! When your character dies, as long as any kind of Partition succession law is in effect, you'll get to play as a random heir.
You won't be as heavily incentivized to tweak succession in favor of your primary heir in any way you can anymore!

The Underdog challenge
Want to make things purposefully hard on yourself?
With this setting, you'll always play as the heir that got the fewest holdings out of the inheritance!

Partition is broken
To be honest, at Mostly Mechanical Mods, we really don't think so, but then who are we to judge?
With this setting, you'll get to always play as the heir that got the most holdings out of the inheritance. So the most broken partition is, the better off you'll be!

A new Gold inheritance game rule will change how the deceased's gold is split upon inheritance - for better or for worse!

Hardcore Vanilla
All the gold goes to the Primary Heir, even if that's not the player.
Combined with Alea Jacta Est makes for a great combo!

Spoliation
All the gold goes to the Player Heir, whoever that is. Because why would you share?

Egalitarianism
Every landed heir gets the same amount.
Unlanded heirs still get nothing, because that would be pushing it.

Capitalism
Heirs that inherit the most land get the most gold

Socialism
Heirs that inherit the less land get the most gold

Royalism
Heirs that inherit the highest rank title get the most gold

Populism
Heirs that inherit the smallest rank title get the most gold

The Succession window and Lineage window will be accurate, whatever setting you chose! Doesn't seem like much, but honestly, that was the most complicated part of this mod to pull off! Especially the part where the Lineage window doesn't show rulers that ruled for 0 days. So we're bragging!
