@Joss What makes it even worse is the fact, that 3 is the PREQUEL, placed shortly before the Events that lead to Spellforce 1.

I fear, Spellforce will take the same route like Sacred and Dungeon Siege: The first entry is what hooked us up; the second added the lore and was an overall improvement, though the engine wasn't in favor but the third one killed the franchise

i like how in first game elves were faction of women in bikini that had bonus when fighting in trees, 3rd game kinda butchered every faction with roster and i still don't get why they made leafshade into tropical jungle like the one in southern xu
