Complete 100% Achievement Guide | Remnant: From the Ashes
By Rhizzy
A complete achievement guide for Remnant: From the Ashes, including the 2 DLC's.
Everything is properly categorized, organized, and formatted, for easier tracking.
Overall, it is a medium to semi-hard game to 100%. You will be replaying sections a lot in order to get all the different boss kills, there is a challenging Survival game mode to do, and finally a grind for Glowing Fragments to finish it all off.

Introduction
Approximate Time to Complete: 60 - 80 h[howlongtobeat.com]
Number of Achievements: 50
Story: 40 | DLC: 10

1. Play through the game and DLC's
You don't have to worry about any achievements in your first playthrough. You will have to replay many sections regardless because of the RNG. Be mindful of any missable achievements under "Specific" and "DLC: Subject 2923". Consider playing on Hard to collect some Glowing Fragments along the way, since they only drop on Hard difficulty. Just take your time, visit every location and enjoy the game!

2. Re-roll Campaigns or Adventure Modes
Clean up all the other achievements that you are missing. Re-roll campaign to get either "Undying, Eh?" or "Shot Through the Heart", whichever one you missed. And keep re-rolling Adventure Modes for anything else. You can focus on doing any alternative boss kills along the way. You will likely encounter some new ones as well. You should have everything done except for Survival and armor skins.

3. Finish Survival
Kill 10 bosses in a row in Survival Mode. There are some tips you can find under "Dominator". It is best to have this done with at least 1 other person. If you need people to play with, I'm sure you can find somebody by asking in Discussions.

4. Grind for Glowing Fragments
You will have a good amount of Glowing Fragments already collected but you will likely need to grind for some more. You will need a total of 550 Glowing Fragments to unlock 40 armor skins. There is a good method of farming these under "Fashion is Danger". You will again need a friend for this.

Precious
Return ring to Reggie (Secret) (Missable)

You are looking for The Tarnished Ring that is a random spawn on Earth. You can re-roll the Adventure Mode until you find it. Deliver the ring to Reggie in Ward 13.

Note: User KoweK noted that there is a handy site called Remnant World Analyzer[hzla.github.io] which can cut down the amount of time spent re-rolling worlds while searching for these random drop chance items. You input your save file (after rolling a new adventure), and the site will tell you what items are available for pick up in that given world. This can make it so you don't have to search every corner of the map for the items, and can just re-roll a new world instead. This can be useful for this ring achievement, the coin below, as well as some elusive armor pieces.

Not So Lucky
Return coin to Ace (Secret) (Missable)

The coin can be found randomly on Earth locations or from killing Earth enemies. You can re-roll the Adventure Mode until you find it. Deliver the coin to Ace in Ward 13.

Shot Through the Heart
Return the Swamp Guardian's heart to the Undying King (Secret) (Missable)

After defeating Ixillis XV you will get a Swamp Guardian's Heart. You will need to bring the heart back to the Undying King and not side with the Swamp Queen. This will void "Undying, Eh?" achievement. You will need to re-roll the campaign to get the missed achievement.

Untouchable
Defeat a world boss in offline mode without taking damage (Secret) (Missable)

You should go for this after you've finished the game and are fully upgraded, it will make the fight much easier. The easiest boss for this is Singe. Re-roll the Adventure Mode until you get him. You need to do it solo so make sure you are in offline mode.

Spec your build so you do the highest damage possible. Use potions that increase your stats like Icefruit, Houndmaster's Jerky, Frenzy Dust, Adrenaline. I used a Sniper Rifle with Slayer armor set and summoner mods (Iron Sentinel & Beckon) and killed the boss within a minute. Another build relies more on summoner damage with Beckon, Swarm, and Cultist armor set. Another build is with Chicago Typewriter, Bandit armor set, Song of Swords and Explosive Shot mods.

There is also a way you can get this by skipping a boss fight. This can be done with Ravager at Yaesha, by ringing the bells in the correct order. The correct order to shoot the bells is: 5-1-5-1-2-3-4-1. From where you enter the room - close right is 1, close left is 2, center is 3, far left is 4, far right is 5. You have to be rather fast for it to work.
DLC: Swamps of Corsus
Fall of the Iskal
Defeat the Iskal Queen (Secret) (Missable)

This boss only shows up in Adventure Mode on Corsus, re-roll until you get her.

Survivor
Defeat 5 Bosses in a row in Survival Mode

Dominator
Defeat 10 Bosses in a row in Survival Mode

This will be the hardest achievement to get. You can't save progress in Survival Mode so you have to do it in one go. You should of course be familiar with all the boss fights. Every third boss will be a world boss. Since some bosses are harder then others, you can only hope to get a good RNG. Here are some tips that I gathered that helped me:
  • Disable Subject 2923 DLC. The bosses and dungeons are harder and the items are not worth it. To disable, right click the game > Properties > DLC.
  • Play with at least one more person. Playing solo can be good because you get all the items and enemies are easier, but dying means insta wipe. Having somebody to revive you or take the aggro makes the run much easier. Playing with 2 people is also good but enemies will have more health so take that as you will.
  • You should aim to be 2-3 levels above world level. Try to be fast and do not spend too much time looting. Split up with a friend to cover all areas, get the chests, kill all enemies for xp, but do not go on big detours if you don't have to. If world level catches up to you around boss 8, you are still on good track.
  • Focus on a build. Since gear you get is random you can only hope to get what you need, but try to make it work with what you find along the way. You can also restart if you don't find some good weapons at the beginning.
My friend and I were running a summoner build with Iron Sentinel turrets, Seed Caller or Beckon if you are lucky to get those bosses. They would do a lot of damage even to bosses and take aggro most of the time. You can buy some Invoker traits from the shop to increase summoner damage. I was running a Sniper Rifle with a Magnum Revolver and Slayer armor set. The pistol would one shot most enemies. My friend was running Chicago Typewriter or Beam Rifle. Those are all top tier guns along with Assault Gun, Coach Gun, Spitfire, Submachine Gun.
For the armor sets you should consider: Cultist, Labyrinth, Twisted, Slayer, Hunter, Void. You can also mix and match. Try not to have armor encumbrance above medium so that you can dodge better.
  • Around boss 6-7, consider buying some potions that last an hour to increase your stats. Stuff like Mudtooth's Tonic and Stew or Houndmaster's Jerky or Icefruit. Also have at least one of each potion to remove status effects: rot, radiation, corrosion, shock, bleed.
  • 6-8 dragon hearts is more than enough. Don't hesitate to heal even when at around 60% health during boss fights. An unexpected combo can quickly take you out.
  • And finally hope to not get many hard bosses, or if you do, that they are at the beginning while they are easier. May the RNG gods be with you!
Fashion!
Purchase 15 Armor Skins

Fashion is Danger
Purchase 40 Armor Skins

This will be the grindiest achievement to get. You should go for it after Survival since you will get good amount of Glowing Fragments from there. You will need 550 Glowing Fragments in total to get 40 armor skins. Buy all the helmets and pants first as they are cheaper and finish off with chest pieces that you want.

This is the best method for farming these. You need at least 1 more person but best with 2 for increased chances. Everybody re-rolls Adventure Mode on Corsus until you find a tower-like cave (image below). You are looking for Fetid Pools dungeon that has 1 in 5 chances of spawning inside that cave. If you get anything else you quit and re-roll the world. Explore just the initial Corsus area for the tower. If you do not find it, quit and re-roll. If you see a tower that is inaccessible from the door that needs to be opened from the other side, there will always be another tower that you can enter. There will be many runs with no towers or wrong dungeons but this is definitely the fastest method.

Once a person finds Fetid Pools, everyone joins their game. You are looking for a Rusted Amulet that spawns randomly in the dungeon. Once you find it go to the middle open area of the dungeon where there are pools of acid. ONLY ONE person equips the amulet and crouches around in the pool until they get Acid Cleansed Key. With that key, go to the north of the dungeon where there is a checkpoint and a bunch of doors. Open the door to the right-middle, that leads upstairs. Then the second person dips in the pool of acid to get another key. With the second key you go through the open door and open the right-most door that has 25 Glowing Fragments. One person can wait by the pools while the other opens the doors, to speed up the process. Exit and re-roll.

For a solo method, your best bet is to just keep doing Survival mode or you can keep re-rolling Adventure Modes on Hard or higher (Fragments only drop on Hard). Glowing Fragments will drop from random special enemies and bosses. Higher difficulties will net more Fragments. Alternatively, you can use the same method with Fetid Pools but it will take much longer. You obtain the Rusted Amulet but DO NOT convert it to Acid Cleansed Key. You re-roll the Adventure Mode and find Fetid Pools again. DO NOT pick up a new Rusted Amulet yet, instead convert your old one, open the first door, pick up the second amulet, convert it, and open the second door. Both of these are much grindier methods.
DLC: Subject 2923
Girl in the Snow
Travel to Reisum (Secret)

Nemesis
Defeat the Final Boss

Other Voices
Listen to all the Recordings in Ward Prime

If you are playing with others, only the host will get the achievement. Video guide below (credit goes to original creator).

Lockdown
Visit the Homestead Basement (Secret) (Missable)

You are looking for a randomly spawned location called Homestead. It will be a second checkpoint in the first area of the DLC. If you do not get it, you will need to re-roll the campaign. Progress though the game as normal until you get to Ward Prime. The key for the basement will be on the shelf in the main bay. Checkpoint back to the Homestead, where the basement door will be hidden behind a breakable shelf in the house. Video guide below (credit goes to original creator).

Hard Bargain
Make a Deal with Sebum (Secret) (Missable)

You are looking for a Packmaster's Tusk that is a random drop in one of the snow locations. It drops from a special Packmaster Yeti. If you do not find it, re-roll Adventure Mode until you do. You are then looking for Frieran Sea location. If you find Frieran Sea first, the Tusk will always be somewhere else and vice versa. At Frieran Sea, DO NOT talk to Sebum yet. Instead go to the left of the ship, through breakable boxes, where you will interact with armor that you see through the crack in the ship. Go back to Sebum and talk to him. Mention the armor below when prompted. Trade the Tusk for the armor. Go below though unlocked door to get the armor.

thx, i will try it alone :D And then maybe Remant 2

Yes they can all be done solo. Only all the glowing fragments will probably take longer to get, and 10 Survival bosses might be a bit harder since you don't have another target that the boss can focus (skill level dependant).

Hey! one question, can all 50 achievements be done alone ?
Rhizzy  [author] 28 Mar @ 2:41pm
I added it to the guide, thanks for sharing!

Well... I had to roll adventure for 12 times (I don't count re-rolls without this tool) to find ring - imagine if I had to explore whole area instead of simply check save and see if it spawned. Same with "10 armor set" achievement because there's one very rare human boss which can give you full set for pocket watch.
Rhizzy  [author] 28 Mar @ 8:26am
Thanks for the tips. Is that site only really useful for the 2 achievements for coin and ring?
KoweK 28 Mar @ 4:08am
Some tips from me. With this https://hzla.github.io/Remnant-World-Analyzer/ you can significantly reduce ammount of played hours - when you roll your adventure and it's loaded, just quickly alt+tab game and check your save is correct locations and items you want to pick up spawn - if not, roll again. I can't imagine how much hourse I'd wasted if not this tool when I wanted to find Drifter Helmet and do achievement like "Precious".

The best solo farming glowing materials way is just playing survival mode - if you will do twice 25 bosses in a row then you practically done. Just remember to buy skins after every run because you can stack max. 200 glowing materials. For me it was around 6-8 hours. With this it's possible to 100% in under 50 hours.

Equipment Enthusiast does not count the starting armor outside of the armor associated with the class you pick at the beginning of the game.

Basically just means restart. Re-roll could just be replaced with restart.
