In order to fix this bug you need to go into Discord and click on the 'Settings' button. (It looks like a cog next to your name)

Then go down the Settings until you see 'Advanced' and uncheck the slider that says ' Hardware Acceleration'

Now launch Apex. (In my personal experience it didn't require a full system restart, however Discord needs to reload to process the change otherwise it won't work)

Please note that this may not work on all devices and platforms and that the fix only works on PCs which have Discord.

This fix will still give you the loading and compiling assets but it shouldn't be on your screen for more than apex takes usually to load. (For me Apex breezed through it after the fix.)

Also, if this doesn't work I highly recommend trying other guides for a fix or looking for other programs and devices that suck up GPU resources like the Discord Hardware Acceleration.
