UH-1D Huey

"The Bell UH-1 Iroquois (nicknamed "Huey") is a military helicopter powered by a single turboshaft engine, with two-blade main and tail rotors. The first member of the prolific Huey family, it was developed by Bell Helicopter to meet a United States Army's 1952 requirement for a medical evacuation and utility helicopter, and first flew in 1956. The UH-1 was the first turbine-powered helicopter to enter production in 1960 for the United States military, and more than 16,000 have been built since.The Iroquois was originally designated HU-1, hence the Huey nickname, which has remained in common use, despite the official redesignation to UH-1 in 1962. The UH-1 first saw service in combat operations during the Vietnam War, with around 7,000 helicopters deployed."

How to Start:

1. Battery - On
2. Fuel Boost - On
3. Key - On
4. Throttle - 30%
- Wait for RPM to rise -
5. Gyro - On
6. Set Hover Altitude (Push 5)
7. Throttle - Incrementally increase to 100%
8. Generator - On


How to Fly:
With Gyro on and Altitude Hold on, use Up/Down Arrow Keys to increase and decrease altitude. When you are at the desired altitude, easily tap in the opposite direction to stop your climb/descent.
(Use the Pitch Control gauge in the center to see where your Up/Down value is at - 0% is decrease alt, 100% is increase alt)
To land, set Pitch Control to <25% and turn off the Altitude Hold, from there the huey should almost land itself.

To turn, once at speeds all you have to do is push A/D.

To fly with precision and speed, turn off the Gyro and Altitude hold with max Pitch Control! (You'll be able to do a loop with enough altitude and speed.)


Equipment:
There are 2 sets of binoculars towards the insides of the pilots seats.
2 Ropes, 2 Flare Guns, 2 First Aid Kits, and 1 Flaregun Ammo Box is hidden under the floor next to the transmission.
