went through my mods and found out that damocles slab was the ultimate culprit . thanks for the help!

@rakithk if you have mods that edit the items.xml folder (such as mods that rename items by directly changing their internal names instead of using LUA code to change the pickup description), they break newly added/reworked items when the game updates, even if the mod doesn't apply to those items at all

this mod doesn't alter items.xml, so i don't believe it'd break anything? (i could always be wrong, but it works on my end without any alterations to the mod itself)

perhaps check other items like breath of life and athame to see if they're broken as well, and go through your mods to see what ones might be causing the issue (a lot of common modding tutorials involve editing items.xml, so there's a bunch of mods like that that break upon updating)

not sure if its this mod or not but with the new rep update my shadow does not work as intended, even after uninstalling the mod

@Mechanomical removing the My Shadow resprite should be fine because the anm2 file only applies to the Shade familiar; though, I suggest going into main.lua and removing the lines referring to "LITTLE ONE" (specifically line 5, line 31 and line 34) so it also removes the custom pickup text

lemme know how it goes if you do decide to alter the files that way

I was gonna remove the My Shadow resprite in the files but I notice that this has an animation file, is removing the file gonna cause any problems?
