If/when you kill Chaos you get to save outside of Temple afterwards. I did after I won at Lv53, then went back for WarMECH at lv58

Also Some weapons such as icebrand and wyrmkiller. are chest unique, so if youre looking for a 100% loot complete inventory dont sell them like i did. grind for the gil you need instead.

78 Wyvern - World Map near Lufenia/Great Desert
83 Allosaurus - Same as 78
103 Tyranosaurus - Great Desert Only
118 Warmech - Bridge to Tiamat, Good Luck
123 Iron Golem - Chaos Temple B4, just as rare as warmech but absurdly easy to kill by comparison.
128 Chaos.

Warmech is the only thing keeping me from fighting chaos and 100%ing the game right now, I'm almost level 55 at this point.

Pro-tip you can use White Wizard to Exit or Black Wizard Teleport through Chaos Temple before fighting chaos if you wanna hunt warmech or generally have an easier grind/missed any chests.
