Introduction
===============
===============

Chronomancer is a build planning tool for Chronicon. It lets you theorycraft your builds outside of the game, allowing you to know what is available for your character and allowing you to plan ahead as to what items and skills you want.
Classes
When you start up Chronomancer, you'll be greeted with the option to select any of the 4 classes. Click one of the 4 to be brought to the main editing page.

If you want to start over with a different class, you can go to the options menu in the upper right and select "Reset Character".

Alternately, if you have a character you're in the middle of building and you want to work on that, you can import characters from your Chronicon save files! Just go to the upper-right menu and select "Import From Save File". You can then go select your save file to import it. On windows, you can find your saves at %localappdata%\Chronicon\save.
Skills
At the right pane is your character's skills. Left-click on a skill node to allocate points or choose which skill to use. If you have selected a skill and want to select a different one, simply right-click the node (or shift-right-click, depending on the web browser you use).

You can also ctrl-click to allocate as many points as possible into a node (again, you may need to hold the shift key on some web browsers). Ctrl-right-clicking a node you made a choice in will clear that choice, as long as you have no levels put into it.

There is a button in the upper right of the pane that, by default, says "Mode: Spec". Click on it to toggle between spec mode and unspec mode. In unspec mode, clicking and ctrl-clicking will deallocate points instead of allocating them.
Equipment
The pane on the left shows you your equipment. Click on an empty slot to add a piece of equipment to that slot.

To the right of your 8 equipment slots is the information on the individual item that you are editing. Click on a filled slot to edit that item. Things you can edit include:

  • The enchantments. Click on an empty enchantment slot to set it, or click on a filled one to edit its roll. By default, rolls will be assumed to be maximal greater augmented, though, so no need to change the roll in most cases. Runes are also slotted into items here.
  • The gems. Click on the gem socket reroll button to change what gem sockets it has. This includes prismatic sockets. Then, click on an empty socket to change what gem you have inserted.
  • The empowerment status. Unique/Legendary items can have thier stats boosted to be equal to True Legendary items through empowerment, so it is assumed by default that you've empowered everything you want to equip. Uncheck this box if that's not the case.
  • The rarity. Some items can appear in multiple rarities. You can change the rarity of the item here.
  • The level. Items can have a level of 1 to 100, like players. Set the level here. The level is by default the level of your character, so again, no need to fiddle with this in most cases.

As with the skills pane, right-clicking will allow you to choose a different item, and ctrl-right-clicking will clear the item from the slot altogether.
Sharing n' Saving
So you've now blinged out the perfect character that you want to build ASAP. How do you save your build so you don't accidentally delete it? Or better yet, why not share your build with your friends? There are two ways to save and share a build.

First off is import/export. In the upper right hand options menu there is an "Export Build Code" option. Click on that, and you'll get a screen showing you a big long code. This is your build code. Copy that to your clipboard and save it somewhere you won't lose it. When you want to restore your saved build, go to the options menu again, select "Import Build Code", and paste in that exact same code. Your build should now be restored to the exact state when you saved it!

Secondly, and better for sharing with other people, is the build link. In the upper right hand options menu there is an "Get Link To Build" option. You should now have a fancy URL that you can paste anywhere you'd like to share. People can then click on the link, and they'll be taken to your build!

Do note that for both of these, this is NOT a permalink. If you make chances and fail to export again or make a new link, your changes will be LOST! So be careful out there.
Known Issues
Currently, there are a handful of known problems with Chronomancer, so watch out:

  • Versions before 1.30.0 have some missing content.
  • Ranges of base enchants (i.e health, mana, damage, present on all items) not yet correct.
Unknown Issues?
If you have a problem with Chronomancer, please file an issue in Chronomancer's issue tracker: https://github.com/iconmaster5326/Chronomancer/issues

Before filing an issue, please be sure someone else hasn't posted the same issue, and please include detailed information (your web browser, the build you're having an issue with, etc). If you aren't able to file an issue, feel free to leave a comment here.
Conclusion
Thank you for reading this little guide, and I hope you find Chronomancer helpful. Build away and enjoy Chronicon! I know I do.
