It's about add slots and keep item in it when smashed, but not craft it with storage matter.
I may considerate that later.
you need to craft them in wooden/industrial workbench (or use provided command)
Also i dont understand why you said "I no longer lose the slots I added to the fridge" , because they never disepear for me in any ways.
i usually put them with 200 slot because 300 seem to kil fps a bit (even with vanilla storage)
the fact we can add slot with the mod wasnt planed and is just a lucky thing.
