This is my first mod so their is bound to be some mistakes. A mod I decided to make to have the same type of play style as a Kingdom of Mann playthrough but in the Mediterranean with a holy twist and many buffs for an interesting Malta game.

This mod does multiple things like adding a unique building chain to Malta as well as creating 2 titles Duchy of Malta and the Kingdom of Malta.

The Duchy of Malta starts as a de jure of Sicily and not created. It can be created like any other duchy, controlling the title and paying gold.

To form the Kingdom of Malta you must activate the decision. The decision only shows up if you own Malta itself.
To activate the decision you must:
be Catholic
be a Crusader or Crusader King
****** Latin Heritage required*****
Duchy of Malta must be your primary title
Pay the cost of 1000 Gold and 5000 Prestige

The decision will then give you an option for a nickname or not to come with your new primary title Kingdom of Malta.
It will spawn 7500 knight event troops that are inherited
Your dynasty gets 2500 prestige
Malta gets more building slots and a large development upgrade
Malta and your dynasty will each get a modifier that lasts for 100 years
Your culture will learn 1 innovation from another Latin culture
Malta will also convert to your Latin culture if it wasn't Latin before

The Unique Building in Malta is only active if you are Catholic.

Might be incompatible with anything that changes de jure of sicily and definitely incompatible with anything changing Malta

May decide to nerf some things like the army, building and modifiers

@Sasafras IF anything, it would make sense with either a Latin culture or Arabic (or, if modder can, have it either necessary for your culture to derive from Sicilian or Maghreb - just due to the nature of Malta & Sicily's siculo-maghrebi roots)

However, i understand having it Latin
just due to Blessed Gerard not being Sicilian.

why only latin cultures? all of the latin cultures are shit military-wise, i wanna do this as a frankish culture, it has better knight/warring cultural beliefs
