The Nova LFS60 is the line of 60 foot articulated buses built by NovaBus Inc. This particular asset is based off of the model used by the TTC in Toronto Ontario, Canada. The TTC would make its first purchase of these buses in 2012 to address the continued ridership growth that was impacting the cities most heavily used routes. These buses however are not the first articulated buses used by the TTC. The TTC previously used the Orion III Ikarus buses as well as the articulated variant of the GM/MCI Classic. However both those vehicles suffered from maintenance issues that soured to the TTC on articulated buses for just over a decade. In the face of growing ridership and some routes being at there limit the TTC would have no choice but to get back into the articulated bus game. Today the NovaBus LFS60 can be found around Toronto on the cities most heavily used routes.
