Legion Commander is a carry that lives or feeds by her ability to snowball. The key is not to gain a bunch of early kills, but to gain a bunch of early Duel Victories. This means that you should not be using your Ult to initiate unless you're sure you can kill the target immediately.

Jungle start is not ideal because you get gold and levels slower, but it is doable. Make sure you get 1 gap-closing tool, and max your amazing nuke!
