All Unusual Miscs in TF2 (Updated 2023)

This guide is a list of all the unusual miscs in TF2. I've found a couple, but they're mostly outdated/missing info.

Any 'regionless' misc can be stacked on itself or anything else. You could have 2 Pencil Pushers at the same time or even 3 if you wanted to, any other misc must be the only item in its equip region (unless specified otherwise), so thinks like both the medic miscs can't be worn together since they have the same equip region. Unusual miscs are nice because they can be worn alongside other miscs and full on hats, creating effects of 'triple' or 'double' unusual effects, and they often look very nice together.

About This Guide
This Guide Will Go Over All The Normal + Special Unusual Miscs as of July 2021.
It will provide wiki links and a link to the backpack.tf page of any specific item along with images taken off the internet (none of these images were made by me). This guide will first list non-glitched items that are meant to be available as miscs and then go over glitched items and how to acquire/use them. Many of these items are being held by collectors and will likely never see the light of day again, but this guide is simply made to showcase their existence, as many people don't even know that certain items can be worn as miscs in unusual form. However, it's important to note that there have been 0 unusual miscs unboxed since 2016. If any information is missing feel free to comment it below so it can be added to this guide.
Demoman
There are no official demoman miscs other than the all-class ones at the moment. However, there are some glitchable misc. ones (see glitched section).
Glitched (Normal)
These are some miscs that were ACCIDENTALLY made unusual temporarily by valve when they were released and were fixed around 5-10 minutes after their release. They're extremely rare and sought after, but they're stuck in collectors backpacks until the end of time (mostly in Darth Chicken Gaming's backpack, the current owner of ALL Hunter Heavys, 1 Sleeveless in Siberia, and 1 Coldfront Curbstomper at the minimum)

Glitched (Quickswap Method)
These are unusuals that are not glitched themselves, however they have a method to wear them with any other item using what's known as the 'quickswap glitch'.

The glitch itself is very easy to perform (if it isn't patched, which it probably won't be since it's been publicly known for years and it would be hard to undo at this point [even though 1 version of this glitch was patched already]). First, get a 'whole head' cosmetic of your choice (https://wiki.teamfortress.com/wiki/Equip_region) <- all whole head cosmetics can be found here (all unusuals with this region are listed below) and equip it in the slot you want it in a loadout you don't plan on using it with (such as loadout slot B instead of A).

Then, click on a different loadout slot (so if you have the whole head hat equipped on B, click on loadout slot A for example) and quickly chose the glitched item in the third slot (MUST be whole head) BEFORE the loadout slot you clicked on loads as you can see below.

It will take a few attempts (it takes me 5-10 attempts on average), but you'll know it works if you click the 'back' button after loading into the cosmetic selection menu and your whole head cosmetic is equipped like this.

It's important to realize that this will ONLY work if the loadout you're loading this hat into has only 1 other item with a head region equipped (so only 1 pair of glasses, 1 team captain, etc.). You CAN have regionless items equipped like the bonoculus of exquisite rack however.

The unusuals the 'quickswitch' glitch work with can be seen below. They are all 'whole head' items.

You can still quickswitch Hats, you just have to do it everytime after dying/reset

no clue tbh, I've seen people like that and almost all of them have had hacked clients installed (like just raw ass aim hacks). my guess is that it's somehow tied to cheats.
