mod will not get updates anymore, i'll made new one soon, which will catch changes in SW and HAM.

Mod adds the ability to control the behavior of Abigail.

RoG and SW compatible


After game start icon with Abigail image will apear.

  • You can move it by pressing Middle mouse button on widget and place it where you want by pressing middle mouse button again.
  • Control abilities can be shown/hided by pressing on Abigail image button.
  • By default - Abigail have similar to non-modded behavior

Control abilities
  • Crossed swords - i.e. Attack mode.
    Abigail will attack hostile creatures without Wendy

  • Shield - i.e. Protect mode.
    This mode is similar to non-modded behavior

  • Boot - i.e. RunAway/Passive mode.
    Abigail will ignore enemy and their attacks on Wendy. She will run away from hostile creatures, stops wondering around and stays closer to you, it can save Wendy in lonly nights, since Abigail is source of light.

    Useful when you just want to walk away from location without loosing Abigail.
    Probably whole point of creation this mod :)

  • Wings - i.e. Smart mode
    • Works with previos 3.
    • Abigail will avoid large creatures except Koalefant and Beefalo.
    • If her health is below 30%, she will switch to passive mode till health is restored

Every time passive mode button pressed Abigail forgeting about her current target.

Changed following parameters, now Abigail will be closer to Wendy.
Abigail no longer attack structures and companions. Easy mode :)

No stats was changed.

Does this mod work with the Hamlet DLC?

I noticed two issues:
1. Abigail is inconsistent with dealing damage. She often only damages a single target. It looks like she only damages enemies aggroed to her specificaly, not me. This is incredibly annoying when fighting spiders/hounds/crocodogs/bats;
2. Even in passive mode, Abigail still attacks mobs hostile towards me. It is most prominent when I harvest honey from my beehives. She doesn't charge towards them, but if she lines up with one she can attack them;

Wonderful mod, you honestly fixed my primary issue with Wendy. Always thought something like this should have been part of the base game. Do you plan to make the mod available in DST?

Mod doesn't show in the list and the suggested fix doesn't work at all.

sometimes workshop is buggy, unsubsribe, enter game and into mod menu to update list, exit
subscribe again and do same.

Can't find the mod on my "subscribed" list and it doesn't show up when I search for it in the workshop. When I view the mod's page itself, it shows I'm subscribed but that's the only indicator that this mod exists at all. Would love to use it but I can't figure out how lol.

Can I make a suggestion? I think a good thing to add would be the ability to tell Abigail to stay where she is. This has been the bane of my RoG playthrough where she always winds up getting killed by giants because she always tries to follow me as I'm trying to lure them into my tooth traps.

Loving the mod, but I wish the stay away button would work for water beefalo in SW, she always gets herself killed when I'm collecting manure
