Introduction
This guide will cover all of the features of Operation Phoenix. Operation Phoenix ends at the start of June 2014.

Pass

The Operation Phoenix pass can be purchased from the CS:GO store and the Steam Community market.

Once purchased a popup will display asking you if you want to activate it now or later. If you choose to do so later you can right click on the pass icon within your inventory and select "Use".

Once activated your Operation Phoenix badge will be placed in your inventory. You'll also immediately gain access to the Operation Phoenix matchmaking.

Badges

Your Operation Phoenix badge can be levelled up by playing Operation Phoenix maps. The badge starts off bronze and can be levelled up to silver and gold through playtime and competitive Operation Phoenix wins.

To earn the silver badge you'll need to play 10 hours worth of Operation Phoenix maps and win five competitive games playing the Operation Phoenix matchmaking.

For gold you'll need 30 hours and 15 competitive wins on Operation Phoenix maps.

To view your status towards your next badge you can hover over your Operation Phoenix badge within your in-game inventory. The scorecard displayed will show your hours played along with your competitive wins during Operation Phoenix. It is not specific to Operation Phoenix maps however.

If you right click on the badge within your inventory and select "Display This Item" it will display your badge next to your name on the CS:GO scoreboard.
Matchmaking
While finding a match either in competetive or casual mode you can identify the Operation Phoenix maps by the badge icon at the bottom left of the thumbnail. Playing these maps will earn you hours played and wins towards your badge.

Weapons
The Operation Phoenix crate features 13 brand new weapon skins for your arsenal. Within the crate you can unlock the following:

  • UMP-45 | Corporal
  • Negev | Terrain
  • Tec-9 | Sandstorm
  • MAG-7 | Heaven Guard
  • MAC-10 | Heat
  • SG 553 | Pulse
  • FAMAS | Sergeant
  • USP-S | Guardian
  • AK-47 | Redline
  • P90 | Trigon
  • Nova | Antique
  • AWP | Asiimov
  • AUG | Chameleon
  • or an Exceedingly Rare Special Item!

You'll need to purchase a weapon crate key to unlock a crate. These can be purchased from the CS:GO store. Operation Phoenix weapon crates can be found randomly at the end of matches.

When operation pheonix ends, will you still be able to play matchmaking or official casual mode on the maps unlocked by operation pheonix pass?. I mean, would it be worth to buy a pass now, since it's going to end soon?
