SS Thoric 1908

It is 1908 and Marren Line needed 2 new tender ships for the new Oceanic class as they were too large to fit into most ports. It was then in 1907 where SS Thoric and SS Hydric began construction and were completed in the following year. These 2 new ships would be the smallest ships Marren line would own but certainly not the least luxurious. SS Thoric would carry all 3rd class passengers and SS Hydric would carry 1st and 2nd class passengers. Meaning that SS Hydric would have the more beautiful interiors making her the more popular of the two. The two ships would go on to serve with Marren line until 1964 where the two were scrapped side by side bringing the end to this iconic duo.
