Report a translation problem
- Finally, I'd add a section regarding the transit reserve and time. It's not exactly obvious what those values do - transit time is the estimated time it'll take to return to the station using the astrogator, and transit reserve is the amount of fuel you need to reach the station in that time.
- Your rockets (both the main torch and the thrusters) apply equivalent force to whatever their propellant hits. This means that spinning to fire your main torch at an incoming projectile will reduce your relative velocity to each other more efficiently than the torch firing into empty space would. This also has the effect of launching small pieces of ore (notoriously beryllium, but other light ores as well) away from your ship if even a thruster pushes against it.
- Speaking of projectiles, kinetic guns also change your velocity. The relative mass means it won't change it much , but if you're on a collision course with a large asteroid, firing any kinetic guns will help reduce your velocity. Energy-based weapons (such as the laser and microwave) likely do not do this to any meaningful degree, if at all.
I was testing the limits of that and I think I permanently damaged some stuff lol
