@Hammbowning that's really weird as this method still should work. If the game says u have the achievement maybe steam bugged for some reason and it didn't register it. U could try to use SteamAchievementManager (SAM) and manually give yourself the achievement on steam if u want. It's not bannable so no need to worry about that

i know this is an old post but ive tried everything and its not working. so i tried to get the advanced chamber achievements with cheats months ago but it wouldn't give them to me and now i came back to try again just in case and it still wont work.
so in the actual games achievement section in the main menu it says i have the cupcake fruitcake
and crazy vanilla cake achievements but on my actual steam account i dont have them and i really dont know what to do or if there is anything i can do.

dosent work for least steps, portal says "cheated" once you get to the evlevator and dosent count it
