Pew, Pew, Pew


I finally have free time, I am done with University and have achieved my Bachelor! This means that from now on I will finally have more time again to work on skins and just enjoy life a little bit more. The SCAR-20 (and UMP-45) are a result of me finally having more time to dedicate to the CS:GO workshop and I must say that it feels really good to finally be able to creatively express myself more. I had a ton of fun making this skin and I hope that you like it it too!


This SCAR-20 was the actually one of the smoothest Anemoia skins I have ever made. I initially started on an MP9 but decided to give the SCAR-20 a bit of love because it also has quite a similair layout to the M4A4 (minus the scope and buttstock). It allowed for a nice display of the artwork and just in general the balance between grey and paint looks really good.

One thing I struggled with was the buttstock, it was initially a bit empty as I didn't add scenery to there. However, after a quick feedback session with some people I decided it would look better filled. One thing that was important though was that it didn't take away from the main body, it had to be low profile. So, what I did was I added the same ground with a broken tree. It gives a bit more context and a bit more filling, yet it isn't screaming in your face and taking away the attention from the main artwork.
