Welcome to my guide, detailing how to exit Duck Creator!

You might have noticed the logo for this guide, that's Captain Duck! He's probably the most handsome duck of them all. My experiences with Captain Duck led to the tech I'm going to be teaching you today, so buckle up!

Most players will try pressing the "Esc," or "escape" key to quit most games. Duck Creator does not have a tutorial where it explains how to use the UI, so players must instead make assumptions based on past experiences playing video games.

With this information, we can expect most players to immediately go to the "Esc" key to quit the game, but that's where Duck Creator throws players what I like to call "The Curveball."

When players go to their trusty Esc key to access the menu that many games offer them, that's when Duck Creator slaps you with "The Curveball."

To put "The Curveball" into layman's terms... there is no menu when you press the Esc key.

Maybe you weren't trying to exit Duck Creator yet, and instead were trying to lower your graphics quality for extra frames, or perhaps you wanted to turn the volume up in the sound settings because the quack didn't make you leap 5 ft off your chair. Well, "The Curveball" affects those players too, because if those options do exist, the menu you expect to find them in doesn't!

Now at this point you might be saying to yourself...
"Listen bub! I've already got RTX on! I don't need to change any settings! I'm just trying to quit!"

Well after spending some time refining my Duck Creator technical skill, I've come up with a technique that I refer to as "Rapid Duck Creator Escape via Multi-Keystroke Holding."

That name is a little long, so I shorten it to "RDCEvMKH."

Hopefully you've warmed up your fingers with some basic stretching, because for the unprepared gamer, this technique might cause some finger strain.

The Rapid Duck Creator Escape via Multi-Keystroke Holding technique is a little bit deceptive. It uses keys that don't seem to be mapped to anything else in-game, so when you use these keys in tandem with each other, you might not expect a result, however, you'd be wrong!

You start by pressing down the "Alt" key. Now, most standard keyboards are equipped with two of these. I recommend using the "Alt" key on the left side of your keyboard, though you can get it to work with the key on the right.

Keep the "Alt" key held down, and at the same time, press the "F4" key.

If you can pull off that keystroke combo, Duck Creator reacts by instantly shutting down, skipping the need for any kind of menu.

After bringing this to other veteran players of the game, the RDCEvMKH technique seems to have taken off as the most effective technique for exiting Duck Creator. No other technique has been discovered as of yet, at least in the Veteran Duck Creator community.
