Wolves Den is a mod that aims to bring stronger wolves from myths and legends in the game,
and be viable in endgame fights.
Hopefully over time and with more funding, i will be able to bring in a few different
types of wolves with different niches and abilites to help your ultratech bases thrive and survive
in those massive mechanoid raids




The first wolf to be introduced is Garmr, the legedary protector of the passage to the land of the fallen in Norse mythology.
Garmr is a loyal wolf that thrives in pack or when they have a master to protect, to Garmr, the pack comes first, as such they will roam and hunt together.
together Garmr gain bonus to health and attack, the more members of the pack that are around.
the alpha of the pack gains the ability to howl and stun enemies in a radius around them, allowing the pack to descend and devour would be aggressors to the pack.

When a tamed Garmr howls, it also causes colonists to run, not just enemies. Is there a way to change that?

Throws a red error on startup, because wolf def references a now replaced stat named ToxicSensitivity.

You can fix that by changing <ToxicSensitivity>0.15</ToxicSensitivity> in DW_Garmr def to <ToxicResistance>0.85</ToxicResistance> or so.

Observation, when I went to make a caravan, I found that this enormous wolf has no visible carry capacity. 4 riders on 4 wolves, and the caravan moves 'zero tiles per day' because there's no carry capacity.

Is this intentional?

Can't wait for the new update Rebel, but when you do it could you just make it a stun or ditch the vanilla fleeing system? Since while it works well enough on non controlled pawns, on controlled pawns it just means I need to micro in a fairly obnoxious way to retarget.

absolutely love these guys. these and the royal thrumbos are usually the icing on my colony's cake in the end game.

though i do have an issue where i'm unable to interact with them with a character editor, and unable to replace parts with A Dog Says. so i ended up selling my elderly garmr after it losing a paw and a kidney and a bad back that i couldn't replace after costing at least a good three trainers trying to tame it. :(
