I did the steamappid path, but it doesnt work
Also, sometimes Powershell needs to be 'enabled' to execute scripts, open it as admin and run
set-executionpolicy remotesigned
-or if that doesn't work-
Set-ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted
If that still doesnt help I can always share a precompiled exe if interested, or jsut go with the other option. GL.
You still have to add a non-steam game but the pay off of doing that is worth it because of simply how much easier it is. Plus you can organise your mods as individual non-steam games and avoid having to make a change each time, and so on. I love it :) Thank you.
I will need to update this guide.
If anyone wants Clear Sky's it's "20510".
Make a .txt file called "steam_appid". Inside the file type "41700", which is the id for CoP (you can find id's for all games by checking their properties).
Copy that file to wherever the .exe is that launches your game, like Stalker-COP.exe, AnomalyLauncher.exe or ModOrganizer.exe.
Now add whichever of those .exe's you're using as a non-steam game. Launch the game, and Steam should be saying CoP is running instead of a non-steam game.
Yes, technically you can even use this to have any app on your pc add hours to CoP, or any game you want.
