I mixed VJBase LUA from L4D2 Special Infected addon and L4D2 Sweps addon. The result was: This masterpiece....

I tried to make on these weapons a fully functional L4D2 Melee Attack to L4D2 Special Infected Addon, for get an original Left 4 Dead 2 feeling as possible.

NOTES:
-It's a functional addon, but maybe you can see some animations bugs, but it's not annoying ingame.
-I can't make a functional melee attack on pistols....I'm not a LUA expert (Pistol, Dual Pistol, Magnum...)

They are not required, but these were made to work on those zombies as the shoving mechanic actual is able to push them. In fact, this is the only addon for weapons that actually interact physically with those zombies.

These have a few visual and lighting bugs, so if you are not planning on fighting the infected, then you are better off subscribing to a more faithful recreation of the Left 4 Dead weapons on the workshop that weren't made for these specific NPCs.

But they can still do damage to other NPCs and players though so you can feel free to try them on anything. Just be aware of their weird shine and the broken animations in 3rd person for a few of the weapons.

Hi! I was just wondering if the Special Infected and Common Infected addons are required!

I wonder if making a janky workaround like replacing the usual melee hitbox with an explosive radious (just the damage type and not an actual explosion) would be enough to kind of give the same type of melee effect from L4D2. It would be super janky and dumb but at least that could target one more than 1 enemy at a time.

Hi! Thanks for the comment @Bunneer (Vanilla). Yes, as I saw in the addon and its code, only has a basic function targeting to one enemy instead of "spread" the bash attack and damage... When I mixed the bashing-shoving feature into these l4d2 weapons, this way of function is exposed.

I really love this addon, from the shoving to the collection of weapons. Although melees in this addon are kind of pathetic compared to the actual Left 4 Dead 2. Makes me wonder if it is because melees can only target one enemy at a time in Garry's Mod.
