Descriere
The SS Loyal Courier

The SS Loyal Courier is a 30m long coal freighter which was brought
into production by the newly formed company - CG Industries, in 1935.
This ship had a top speed of 18 knots, and could carry 2,727 units of
coal. The SS Loyal Courier had a large volume of interior space,
which enabled 5 crew members to sleep and live in comfort on the
ship at any one time.



When spawned in, the Loyal Courier's cargo
compartments come filled with a small amount of coal, this
allows a sufficient amount of boiler coal storage re-fills to take
place, and consequently increases the ship's range until complete
cargo refills have been performed.

Startup manual (simple)

To start the Loyal Courier, please complete the following
procedures:

-Travel to the bridge, enable the 'Pump Electrics','Coolant Pumps',
and 'Steam Pumps'.

-Travel to the engine room, enable the 'Firebox Air Valve' and push
the button labelled 'Ignite Firebox'

-Travel back to the bridge and wait until the boiler has reached
above 100 degrees (The temperature will stop rising at 140 degrees).

-After the boiler has reached optimum temperature, release the
steam valve (Above the helm).

The boat should now be moving!

Extra Backstory (Fictional)

CG Shipping Co was formed in 1928. They eventually
merged with the company 'Sawyer transport solutions' in
1933, forming CG Industries. Following their merger,
CG Industries began designing their first ship, the
SS Loyal Courier.

A railway network had not yet been
established throughout the Sawyer isles, and there
was a large gap in the market for a cheap but reliable
cargo freighter. The SS Loyal Courier was a perfect
ship to fill this gap, and many companies placed
contracts in order to lease the freighter. Once the
Courier had been constructed, in 1935, Sawyer Cargo
Lines, being CG Industries' first customer, began making
use of the new ship.

The SS Loyal Courier stayed in service with Saywer Cargo
Lines until 1958, until it was eventually scrapped and
replaced with newer ships.

also is there a way to switch over to the aft coal storage once the fwd is out?

LOVE THIS THING!!! but can we please get a spotlight. or at least put a button in the bridge for the one on the roof that doesn't seem to be connected to anything? i think one on the bow would be better but anything would be nice for night sailing.

Yet another small update - added coal storage readouts and a heading hold system over at the bridge.
