Some things you need to know
The Chelicerate and Shadow Leviathan do not respawn.

The void Chelicerate's do respawn and Ice worms cannot be killed.

There is a somewhat high possibility you may die.

Repair your prawn preferably as much as you can.

Save your game if you are not playing on hardmode.

Keep an eye on the leviathan while repairing your prawn.

Stuff needed
Things that you will need

1.Repair tool and 3-5 batteries
You NEED this, without it your Prawn suit is basically done for.

2. Prawn Suit
You are going to need this, do not try to fight leviathans without it.

3. Prawn default arm or drill arm
This matters on which one you like more

The Default arm does more damage but does not have a wide target area and is slower. (I use this)

The Drill arm does less damage but has a higher hit rate and wider target area.

4. Grappling arm
Lets you grapple onto stuff including leviathans. You are going to need this to fight both the Chelicerate and Shadow Leviathan.

5.Prawn Suit jump jet upgrade
Lets you boost vertically further. Makes fighting and getting to leviathans easier.

6. Mk1 and Mk2
You only need these to fight the Shadow Leviathans. You will also need this for the end game.

Mk1 for Crystal caves and Mk2 for Fabricator Caves.

Optional

Scanner
I'm assuming you would want to scan it .

Reinforced Dive suit
Reduces damage by 50%, you don't need this but can come in handy.

Food and Water
Yes

Medkits
In case you get attacked.

Extra Power Cells
Just in case you run out of power.

How to kill Shrimp
I will tell you how to kill the shrimp and some stuff about it

Expect to get attacked by it when first engaging in combat

The chelicerate is much "Harder" to kill than the Shadow leviathan due to the fact that they are not in caves and like to swim to random biomes like cowards, this can be quite annoying due to the fact that sometimes they can swim to the world edge and can swim to other chelicerates. Although the chance of it happening is random as sometimes they will swim from the deep purple vents to the twisty bridges or from the Tree spires to the East Artic into another chelicerate. The chelicerate also does 75 damage to the player and 21-33 damage to the Prawn suit

How to fight the Shrimp
First what you want to do when attacking a chelicerate is to grapple on to it ( It will most likely do attack animation, this is fine) Then basically start Punching it or Drilling it to death. After the third attack animation you should repair your Prawn as a fourth hit may destroy it. Rinse and repeat and after 10- 20 minutes it should be dead. Also make sure to keep an eye on it while repairing your Prawn

Results may include
1. Death of shrimp
2. Destruction of Prawn
3. Death

Chelicerates in each biome

Purple Vents
44m
chelicerate will patrol above a crevice near the eastern edge of the Purple Vents. Enter the Cervice if you need to repair (Most likely going to be in a different biome due to it swimming around once you attack it)

East Artic
or Artic 222m
chelicerate will patrol near a inactive volcano, enter the volcano if you need to repair

Tree spires
104m and 240m
These are the Shrimp twins and are annoying because sometimes they will team up on you and its just annoying.

Void chelicerate
Just don't try to kill them there is no point you will DIE
How to Kill Shadow spider worm thing
I will show how to kill this annoying menace.
In my opinion its "easier" to fight due to it being in a cave.

The Shadow Leviathan does more damage but is much easier to fight (Kinda) due to it being in a cave and it getting stuck a lot on the crystals. They do can do about 10 more damage to the prawn suit than the Shrimp but do not worry about that , well keep it in mind.

How to kill

Crystal caves

Location: 591m and 635m

Basically do the same thing with the chelicerate. Grapple on and beat it to death, Keep in mind it will attack you most of the time when you engage in combat. They do 33-42 damage, after the second hit REPAIR your prawn suit preferably near a lot of crystals or in a crevice. KEEP AN EYE ON IT They are also pretty far apart in this biome so you shouldn't have to worry about them deciding to team up on you.

Fabricator Caves
These 2 are quite hard to kill, because they are very close to each other and like to team up to kill you. I wouldn't fight them unless you are up for a challenge. Location: 882m and 890m

Possible outcomes
1.Death of thing spider worm shadow
2. Prawn gone :c
3. Death

Other Leviathans
Ice Worm
You cannot Kill Ice worms

Glow Whale
Why would you kill it? Its just living life and not even bothering you. You can even ride it or something.

SquidShark (I think?)
Its not really a threat with the prawn , yeah it can do some EMP attack but its damage is low and it rarely attacks when attacked.

VentGarden
It looks stupid

Frozen Leviathan
It is frozen and sadly is already dead.

Done
Yeah that's pretty much it

Notes:
There is a chance you will die if you actually attempt to kill these things so make sure to save your game before attacking them.

Also repair your prawn and keep an eye on the leviathans or you will die.

yes and no. Yes as it does dmg, no as in you need a few storage modules filled with torpedoes to do that. Havent seen the math anywhere yet but you probably need well beyond 100 torpedoes for it...

My way of killing the shrimps ? Roadkill ! I just run them over with a max speed Seatruck...is alot funnier :D

is it possible to kill the shadow Leviathan with the prawn torpedo arm?
Goose 6 Jun, 2021 @ 5:37pm
yea, it makes it easier as you can grapple on while repairing and not ever need to go outside, saving a bunch of time (was able to kill a shadow leviathan in like 2 or 3 minutes with it, same with shrimp)
OdderPerson  [author] 4 Jun, 2021 @ 8:49pm
I did not know that was something you could do
Goose 4 Jun, 2021 @ 11:28am
ok but on a serious note, if you do the glitch where you can have tools in your seatruck/prawn suit and do it with the repair tool, it takes not as long to kill them.

this is cool and all but wheres the guide to kill leviathians with the seatruck
BlueBanned 30 May, 2021 @ 4:28am
I killed the Shadow in about 10 minutes just with grapple and fist. I didn't actually mean to kill it.
OdderPerson  [author] 30 May, 2021 @ 4:23am
Yeah but that takes all the fun away from killing them
NLFD3S 29 May, 2021 @ 4:28pm
Or you can ram the chelicerate and shadow leviathan with your seatruck :D (you need the counter measure to prevent getting grabbed) hit them with your seatruck, use boost and repair if needed :)

Ice Worms are not entirely physical entities - they spawn in to attack you or play the animation of hunting a snow stalker, but then despawn once below the ice again. This means their hitbox really exists only when trying to determine when their attacks actually connect with you. They have no HP and cannot be scanned or killed.

There's a dead one for the player to scan, alongside a bunch of ice worm bones hidden way back in that region, but otherwise it is best considered more of an environmental hazard than a living one.
