"Before you buy Star Wars Squadrons, is it worth it?

Star Wars Squadrons in VR is absolutely incredible, especially paired with a Thrustmaster t16000.m HOTAS.

Squadrons is an incredible experience, with a few flaws. It's an easy game to pick up and play, but can be difficult to master the controls to take on the elite players in multiplayer. The story campaign had enough variety in its environments to keep me wanting to play, but characters lacked personality and felt bland. The primary appeal to many people will be the multiplayer, and that felt good. With a proper crew to communicate with, I can see myself playing many more hours in Star Wars Squadrons multiplayer.
