Malus sendedum (Autophobia Competition)

描述
This map was made for the "Autophobia" competition of the "Peter Mapping" discord server.
It was a huge mess and I'm not very happy of the final state of the map, but I just want to end it now.

Autophobia, or monophobia, is the fear of being alone or lonely. Being alone, even in a usually comforting place like home, can result in severe anxiety for people with this condition. People with autophobia feel they need another person or other people around in order to feel safe.

Special thanks :

- Me to be amazing.
- Fajr to be even more amazing than me.

Hey, thank you for sharing me your opinion, though, I wasn't inspired for this one, that explain the low quality of the map. But I'll keep your advice for my further map

Personally I wasn't a fan of the playerclip at the beginning, since i feel like there's a better way to prevent people from going backwards.
The catapult trigger that makes the fling possible is always active, meaning if you walk into it you'll get flung no matter your momentum. You know, defeats the purpose of flinging.
I do like the PT idea of going through the same chamber over and over, although this effect could have been improved by disabling portal ghosts and potentially making the map longer. Unless you ran out of time, then you probably couldn't have done the latter.
Overall, the setting doesn't scream "autophobia" very much. It's at the point where Portal 2 style clean chambers feel normal while deserted. Portal 1 style chambers or offices do convey that feeling more effectively than Portal 2 does, but it's still quite a difficult theme without thinking outside the box.
I do like this map and its concept, but I think it could have been executed a little better.
