=GDC Gold= Scarrab Survival Starter Ship

Descripción
An evolution of the vanilla survivor ship the Scarrab was built with the necessities of survival in mind. The ship has a refinery, assembler and medical bay, along with cargo storage and a landing pad for 2 small ships.

PS. this is my starter ship so it's full of resources. Enjoy!!!

Okay, thanks.

@Doc5A : a lot of trial and error. at first i had only one door but that didn't look right so counted the blocks saw that i can split them evenly and mirrored the doors. as for the angles i used i tried to make the doors as flush as possible without damaging the hull every time i opened or closed them.

@mattig89ch : i'm not going to add new blocks to this ship. I tried making a military version but it wasn't up to my standards. I consider this a finished project, a nice little starter ship that gives you the basics for evolving. Keep tuned for new designs that will feature the new blocks.

Are you going to update your interior with the new blocks? And put turrets on it somewhere?

How did you get the hangar doors to line up with each other?

So to sum up what Gill_Bates and I said, here are the instructions for the cargo doors:
On the left cargo door, negative velocity to open, positive to close
On the right cargo door, positive velocity to open, negative to close

- Try to keep velocity under 1rpm to minimize damage to the ship^
- Do not touch torque/braking torque and/or angles limits

This is an amazing ship, well done man. looks great and does the job perfectly.

you dont need to change angles, it will make the door crash into the ship. To open them you need to just set the speed and turn the rotors on. One door has the angles set to positive so set the speed to positive and it will open and the other has the angled set to negative so set the speed to negative and turn the speed to negative on that one and it will also open. just don't mess with the angles, the doors will crash into the ship.

What do you have to do to make the door open? I tried changing the minimum angle then turning the thing on/off either the thing stays immobile or it ends up opening too fast and destroying the ship
