Report a translation problem
1. No Steam Beta needed anymore, Remote Play Together has been a fully released feature for a long time
2. Both players can use controllers without issue. We would set both Player 1 and Player 2 input devices in the settings menu to 'Game controller 1' and '2'. It was a strange mix of which #1 and #2 were my controller or my partner's controller; But I would assume the sequence would depend on whether or not you plugged in a controller into your PC before or after Remote Play Together is initiated.
Otherwise, pretty much smooth sailing and pleasantly playable. Hadn't heard any latency complaints from my friend, but we are living in somewhat close distance geographically.
