Yes the Officer has multiple spawn points.

The entry was designed to be easy, as the name of the mission may suggest this was inspired by the person Carlos Hathcock. I remembered a documentary about his assassination of a NVA officer and decided it would be a cool mission.
Stealth isn't really an option with how ArmA AI works, so the intention is for the player to arrive at the shooting position without taking contact. Then shit hits the fan.

I'm also part of a Mech Inf unit so I hate walking ;)

Entry to the shooting position was a little too easy. If you plan on improving this mission try adding a couple of roving patrols on the way in.

Thanks for the TRPS, would not have been able to terminate the officer without them. A sniper w/o glass, now that is arma for you.

The extraction was intense. The ambushes were well thought out. Some expected & others were a unexpected surprise. I was able to persevere.

The enemy AI were believable. They put down some heavy fire, but I was not shot between the eyes from 440m through the thick jungle.

This was a simple & well planned mission. Very enjoyable.

I did notice the different positions of the TRPs on the map. Is the officer randomly placed into the map on each startup ??

I unloaded the pook_SAM_Pack & the error went away. It is the addon that is looking for additional addon content.

The confusing part is most of the older Unsung nam missions require that addon. I was used to this error always popping up. My bad.

Great little mission so far. Nice surprise at the boat, then I ran into a problem. Got stuck underwater while trying to enter the boat. ( Think this is an arma problem. )

Will try to finish the mission a little later & let you know how it went.....

The mission was built without any mods loaded other than the Nam DLC.

I am just getting an error " No entry bin: CfgPatches pook_sam_uns " then it won't load.

I tried locating the addon without any luck. It is not listed in the workshop U google was not my friend.

I left a message for the author but he hasn't responded.

By any chance, do you have the pook_SAM_UNS addon & if so, could you make it available ???

I would greatly appreciate any assistance you could provide
