Hello, and, again, welcome to the Aperture Science Computer-aided Enrichment center. [Subject #57], due to the shutdown of the Central Core, testing cannot be supervised personaly. However, thanks to the Emergency Testing Protocol, testing can continue. You have been awoken for a warm up testing. When you're ready, please step into the elevator to proceed to the first warm up testchamber.

Hm, I haven't messed with auto portals yet so I'm not 100% certain, but I think connecting the pedestal buttons to the invisible "toggle latch" item and then connecting that to the auto portal would solve the issue. That way it would only change when it receives an "on" input, so the amount of time you put wouldn't matter as long as it's not infinite (3 sec would be fine in that case I think).

The thing with the autoportals you said is exactly what I wanted to do in the first place but the infinite buttons wouldn't unlock when creating the second portal, which could trap the player.

Nice tutorial, maybe a little bit too much walking at the beginning considering how simple it is. For the second room with the timed portals, the amount of time is so long that I feel like they might as well stay on when you press the buttons and toggle between spots. Everything else was fine, except for maybe the last part which I kinda solved accidentally by jumping through the portal, pressing the button and backing into the exit without actually realizing what happened, ha.
