"Hello!
This is my creation, a real life Cobalt Crest, the beloved decorative piece of all beginning knights! Sadly, I couldnt find a proper "grey" color without it being a mix of several colors, giving it a jawbreaker look. This piece is made out of a basic copper sheet, covered in a glass mixture that melts due to the heat of the kiln. Took me about 2-3 school periods to make in my Jewelry class. Reasons for it looking beaten up? 1) I like having it on my backpack, my signiature thing. 2) I wanted to have that worn down look so that I could properly represent the hardships that those wearing it go through.
Any ideas for future projects?

Actually, that is not paint. It is a special glass that comes in poweder form, consistency similar to pixestick sugar. It has to be poured on and is then put into a kiln. The heat causes the glass to melt and stick to the metal. Putting paint on the glass would compromise the glass and cause it to crack if re-heated.

Nice work.
Try painting one of those Spiral Order logos on it, so everyone can see that you are really high up in rank. :D
