Resident Evil 6 | QHD/60FPS+ Upscaled Pre-Rendered Cutscenes

There is few pre-rendered cutscenes in this game, similarly to Resident Evil 5. Therefore, it would not take much effort into upscaling and using frame interpolation software. The WMV3 files used in this game impose a lot of restrictions.

I will be making multiple versions of this upscales, including 720p@60, 720p@120, 1080p@30, 1080p@60, and 1440p30.
This is due to the limitations of using WMP within the game to playback video files, specifically WMV (Windows Media Video).

Introduction

Using both Topaz VEAI and Flowframes (for frame interpolation), I have managed to upscale and (hopefully) implemented frame interpolation into the pre-rendered cutscenes for this game.

However, 4K does not have frame interpolation support as no software can concurrently convert into WMV at 4K@60. If anyone wants to support me in this regard, let me know.

There are many limitations embedded within this game. The game used to be able to withstand 4K WMV files but now crashes upon playback. Therefore, the upscales are up to 1440p/QHD.

This upscale is hosted on Nexus Mods. This requires a free account to be able to download on Nexus Mods.

If you wish to download interpolated pre-rendered cutscenes, see optional files. You will see 60fps and 120fps. The game is locked at 120fps.

I have not tested the upscales to be installed via Fluffy's Mod Manager, however I have packaged the files to be compatible with the mod manager, so give it a try!

It's not about getting mad about someone taking safety precautions, its about having common sense. It was clear from your first comment that you were being stupid and in clear need of a lot of brain cells. Please, instead of sniffing some grass, go out and actually touch some, you're in dire need of it.

A) People would have complained about the videos having a virus, if it indeed have a virus - which it does not because I am not pathetic.
B) Why would someone go all the way to spend their time and effort in releasing a mod to include a virus?
C) You advising people to use AV to scan the videos gives others, an impression that there is a virus associated with the videos.

And your Karen's conspiracy theory about my Discord Server is laughable. Oh my, please do keep up with that. This is the closest to a Netflix show that I am going to get for free. XD

You are too funny. May I suggest you should sign up to be a comedian? Please gtfo from here, I don't want you to rapidly decline other people's brain cells or making people paranoid by reading your stupid comment about running an archive that contains videos, through an AV.

Viruses bypass anti-viruses through encrypted or in this case password protected shells that they do not have access too until unpacked and run. You should know this so why are you getting defensive? What do you think your going to hide?

Running the archives through a virus scanner is like trying to remove the cheese off from an mouse trap that’s been already set. It makes no sense and is redundant.

If that is the case, then re6logo.wmv has a high bitrate. I will try to get this resolved and uploaded as soon as I can.

Well ... e5110.wmv (the leon plane crash) and e5120.wmv (the rocket that explodes on the city) runs well in the game. It is only rhe6logo.wmv that runs in slow motion.

They supposedly meant to be using VBR/Variable Bitrate, so it is only using 80k+ kbps on frames that demands the bandwidth to playback 1080p 60FPS.

You could try AVS video converter. Since that is the only converter that supports WMV3 codec. And yeah it is not the PC specs. WMP is limited to one or two CPU cores to process videos, which makes 4K playback unlikely or any other qualities/framerates.
