HATCHING EGGS
Eggs take 3 days to hatch into chicks.
Eggs hatch at 8am
Chicks take 5 days to become a rooster or hen.
Hens lay fertilized eggs at 10am and normal eggs at between 4pm and 4:30pm.

HUNTING
All wild animals you kill create Wild Meat. (you get other meats from animals you raise at your ranch, Pork, Beef and Chickens)

MILKING COWS
You can milk your cows at 8am and again at 4pm.

SELLING
Try to sell all food items at the burger restaurant (across the street from car dealer). Go into the back door and you will see a menu board with the days specials listed as well as a price multiplier. Try to sell things on special to get the best money.

COOKING INFO
For sausage you can use egg's and Milk (no cheese in sausages) The way to add items is ...

Place both the grinder and sausage maker on a table or counter. You then need to pick up a cooking pan, and you will see a green area for the pan in front of the grinder,

point at the green and hit E to put the pan in place.

With pan in place grab one piece of Pork, Beef or chicken (cannot use Wild Meat) and point to grinder then hit E to add meat to grinder, then turn the crank to grind or Hit E one more time to start grinding if electric.


Now with the meat still in the pan, you can pick up an egg, point at the pan with ground meat and hit E to add the egg.

For sausage you can also add milk by holding the milk jug and pointing at pan. (I save milk for cheese until I have too much milk)


Now pick up the cooking pan (left mouse button) and point at the sausage maker and hit E to add the contents from the cooking pan into the sausage maker.


You will see sausage come out and fall to floor (or table/counter)


once sausage is made you want to hang it to dry.


For the grinder and sausage maker, I started out with the manual ones to start (just because of cost) then when I could afford the electric I got those. The electric ones make the task easier. (the manual ones you need to spin the crank, kind of like the well for water but not as hard as the well is to spin.

For cheese ...
You place an empty pan on the ground or counter


Then use the milk jug to pour milk into the pan


With milk in the pan you can add an egg by having an egg in hand and point at the pan and hit E.


You can also add a mold (white or blue). You pick up the mold pack and point to pan then hit E to add the mold.


Now you can pick up the pan and look at the stove, you will see a green pan image, point at the green pan and hit E to put the pan on the stove to cook.


The pan will get covered and start cooking.


When 100% the cooking is done.


When cooked take the contents from the pan.


You can now sell the contents as Curd but the better thing to do is place the curd on a shelve in the pantry closet to cure (dry).



NOTE: you use a bucket to milk the cows, (get the bigger metal one and it will hold 7 units of milk from each cow. The milk jug will hold 42 units total). Once you milk a cow pour the bucket into the milk jug (tall milk container in store). You can pickup milk jug and point to either the pan with ground meat or an empty pan to get the option to add milk. Sausage uses 2 milk units and cheese uses 7 units.

HUNTERS MEAT WAGON (not needed as much now (due to coolers) but early game it helps a ton)
You can add extra storage space to the UTV....
Start by adding planks to the outer edges of rack, front of plank goes on the front rack bar....

Then add planks into the middle section...

You end up with a great meat wagon.

Black line is main route from home to burger place to sell.
Yellow line is route going home (I stop for fuel every time)
Green circle is area to drive to for Deer
Red circle is area to drive to for Bear
The little dots are the actual spot I killed the animal

The area that has both a bear and deer you will not find the deer at times, this would be because it was killed by the bear. I have come across the bear chasing the deer here as well.

You may notice the first area of the black route has more little dots. The is because I will go there if I have time (before dark) after return home and on first day I go to this spot and 2nd spot for meat before going to gas station on tutorial.
