Compact High-Speed Heli Carrier R.V. Walrus + Heli

Launched in early 2021, the R.V. Walrus is the smallest helicopter carrier of OMUA (Oceanic Marine Underwater Agency), a (fictional) multinational marine and research agency. Ungainly in appearance, the R.V. Walrus was designed by OMUA engineers to exceed speeds of 130 km/h (70 knots), handle the seas exceptionally and serve as a base of operation for smaller projects, especially ones which require constant sea-land interaction. OMUA worked with (fictional) helicopter manufacturer, Ray Industries, to develop a modified RX-22M, a 6 m, 500 lbs, micro-helicopter, designed to be launched from the R.V. Walrus. Both are equipped to explore, respond and rescue, and feature an array of gear and equipment to be utilised. Designed for a 2-man crew, the vessel includes a fully equipped bridge, cabin, equipment room and helicopter launch pad. All systems are designed for simplicity and can be operated by a 1-man crew.

Turn on the engine start key inside the bridge. The navigator displays and helm displays button is above. The overhead displays button is on the ceiling.

• The vessel starts off 80% fuelled, to avoid the ship being top heavy.
  
• The helicopter starts off 35% fuelled, to avoid water lapping over the heli pad. However, it can be 100% fuelled without sinking.
  
• The advanced AP has a button to toggle the helicopter landing sensor, so the vessel will stop when it detects something above the landing pad and comes to an automatic stop, making boarding possible.
  
• Limit throttle in rough seas
  
• Adjust the trim until cruising at a speed/stability suitable for the weather
