1. go on game
2. hit ~ or `
3. type in the console "changelevel d2_coast_01"(without the quotation marks)
4. play highway 17

there are also more maps that you can change to if you do the stuff for highway 17 but instead with the number at the end of the command a different number

(e.g. d2_coast_07)

edit: ok i found out what the other 'coast' ones were. if you have ever played hl2, you would have noticed that sometimes in the middle of chapter it says 'loading'. turns out that is you going to new map(i think), and each of the 'coast' numbers are the different save locations

each of the coast numbers are different maps. d1_trainstation_01 is the first map of hl2. d3_breen_01 is the last map of hl2. there can be as many autosave triggers in each map, the numbers are just different maps. they don't do anything with the saves.

you can go to trainstation by typing "d1_trainstation_01" without the quotes. make that in your next guide plz
