Descrição
Lancaster Class Light Cruiser

Designed for safe travel & delivery between orbital Stations, planetary bases & short-mid range travels. The Lancaster Class Light Cruiser was built on the Moon, suitable in low gravity and zero-g environments. Its role is for transport, search & rescue and inter-orbit travel.

Main selling point: Relative cheap construction and running cost for ship of this size, capable of wide range of missions and high value cargo transportation.

Lancashire Class Armoured Cruiser is the successor to Lancaster Class, a scaled-up and improved variant designed to overcome its short comings, increased in armour, offensive capabilities and fuel range. (Check: https://steamproxy.net/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2454506450 )

[Note: This ship is designed as an all rounded mid-range space transport, equipped with gatling guns to fend off hostile drones and small ships. Weakly armoured structure propose potential danger when facing heavy armed ships and stations. It suffers in damage control due to its compact design. Repairs will be difficult for engineers that lacks the knowledge of the ship layout.]

Author's Note:
This is my second Workshop Publish for everyone to use, appreciate feedback on the design. It is in series to my first SE workshop item - Lancashire. However, Lancaster was designed and used long before Lancashire when into service.

I have used this ship in my survival play-through. Cheap to build, good All rounder, but suffer in combat situations. The combination of Ion and Hydrogen thrusters will prove good outer atmosphere/ Orbit mobility. Lack of fuel range limits travel distance before refuelling.

If you do plan to use this in survival like I do, I recommend having a space station for constructing the ship in low gravity or zero-g.
