Not everyone is a bad person in dayz some players are ACTUALLY FRIENDLY. It's your trust level. Understand shooting people can't be the only solution just to not trust them. You should probably get to know them. But I'm not saying that have your guard down always. You should always have your guard up when meeting a new player. It's a tip to see what they really are as a player.

Hackers can be anywhere, even on community servers.

Fairly simple as I said, kill all u come across and be a legend. If u want to make friends to play DayZ with theres always RP server or steam discussions, steam groups etc.
