Alyosha Monument

Descripción
What’s this?:
Alyosha is an 11-metre (36-foot) tall reinforced concrete statue of a Soviet soldier on Bunarjik Hill in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. The statue tops a 6-metre (20-foot) pedestal lined with granite. The memorial commemorates Soviet casualties incurred during the Soviet occupation of Bulgaria (which had been an Axis ally) in World War II. It was installed in 1954-57.

A huge thank you to Senselab, whose 3D scan of the monument was used in the creation of this model! https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/soviet-soldier-monument-updated-model-hi-q-db1835c8927c43638c04dcfd0aa2f840

Hey Borgon of the Snows: Thanks for the comment!!!

I'd love to try my hand at that, but I'm terrified of trying any Socialist Classicist stuff. It's so detailed and I worry I wouldn't be able to do it justice at all! The one thing with modernist architecture is at least it is blocky and quite easy to replicate, even for a novice like me!!!

It's also so massive that I'm not entirely sure how to replicate it and make it nice and easy for CS to use without burning a computer haha

I'll definitely have a think about it, and see if I can come up with any brain waves on how to do it...but yeah...scary!

Love your work, would it be possible to build the palace of culture and science in Warsaw, Poland (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palace_of_Culture_and_Science) there is not one on the workshop, I thought you would be good at that style, doing similar buildings, Thanks!
