Drosera

Descriere
Drosera was made for the Vs plantoid event .
She is heavily based on Slyvanos and Byleth
She is a mix between a venus fly trap and a sundew

UP SPECIAL
works very similar to byleth up special
above 50% it starts to spike
can boost from plats

SIDE SPECIAL
a long range grab that can get an aerial boost when you hit a wall or a platform

DSPECIAL
places flower then activate it

NSPECIAL
a short grab that heals five percent if they grab the opponent

TAUNT
she turns into a platform that the opponent can stand on, after that just wait for some trollege

I you ever make a trailer for Drosera, I recommend having a part where Anne Boonchuy drops Hopediah on Drosera while she's taunting & she bites him since he screams & falls down when hit & that's always funny.

It turns out the platform hitbox is a few feet to the right of her. I've reinstalled her but I'll have to wait until I get back from a walk to see if that fixed it.

Her taunt doesn't work unless the enemy lands perfectly on the smallest edge of her sprite & usually not even then because they just fall straight through even if they're stunned. Is this intended?

ty this means a lot to me and made my night reading this.
ty for spending time on my characters.
also here is a tip for nspecial if the opponent holds in hit them with either utilt upspecial
or dstrong(they will drift into the sweetspot killing them pretty early) and in high percents u can even confirm into a upstrong. if they hold out go with fspecial
easiest way to get nspecial is usually with fspecial off plats into nspecial or just combo into it with nair or fair. again thank you for spending time with my characters!
