How to remove the letterbox

Download the following file:

Unpack the files from the folder, and drop them into your Batman folder. Replace anything, if you're asked.

For AMD Users

The user CyDragon2.0 has reported he is on AMD, and he is unable to get the patch working. He has found a workaround, though. He was kind enough to tell me how to temporarily get it fixed, though, you will most probably have to do this trick each time you open the game.
So, either start the game in full screen and press alt + enter to set the game in windowed mode, then alt + enter again, and the black bars will disappear, while also having your game in full screen.
The other method CyDragon2.0 mentioned, is setting your game in 720p, or any other resolution than the resolution you normally use. Save the game with the lower resolution, make sure your game runs on a lower resolution, then go back to settings and use your normal resolution again, and save the game. Now you should have no black bars, and running the game in full screen.
The same user has made a tutorial video, to better explain how to do it. After all, a video is better than all my 1000 words. Thank you, CyDragon2.0 for your help!

Mate, i honestly have no idea where the hell is the preset i edited. It used to be there, and on my Google Drive accounts there are other presets for different games, but none is for Batman.
I need to remake the whole thing.

Thanks for the great guide, much appreciated! The only problem I encountered was that the link to your modified preset is down. Do you think you could upload it again? I've been using jonny25's preset but I was interested in trying yours, seems like it would be more my style.

ok i may still need help with this i applied the TelltaleWidescreenPatcher to Batman.exe and i put in the No Letterbox patch and i'd like to show you a screenshot of what's happening my Discord is CyDragon2.0#5429

but on the page it says to use it with a widescreen patcher which i didn't do i thought the game would read the blackbar fix itself

Have you installed the files as it was explained on PCgamingwiki?

"About This File
The patch removes the letterboxing (top and bottom black bars) from the game at all resolutions.
Simply unpack the files to the main game folder (e.g. \Batman The Telltale Series\)"
