As is the case with the game's much simpler real-life counterpart, a great strategy to ensure the ball accurately lands into a cup is to bounce the ball onto the tabletop first. The same is true for this game with the use of the strategy outlined in this guide. Instead of throwing the ball directly into the cups or relying on complicated ricochet methods, we will merely be bouncing the ball off the red platform closest to the front of the machine and directly into the center cup on every try.

Here is how I positioned my ball.

It may be frustrating, but try your hardest to match my position (or any other position you find that works consistently.) This may take several tries. The game unfortunately demands that you be extremely precise.

I'm still not sure how much this mattered, but this is what I was using when I got my 5000+ points.

FPS Limit: 24

FOV - Field of View (Greatly helps with aiming): 50

IMPORTANT - Your character size/perspective heavily influences the positioning of where you should aim and throw/bounce the ball. The skeleton is a consistent and standardized player model that will always be available, unlike models frequently recommended in other guides that may/may not work anymore.

Upon becoming a skeleton, equip a Large size potion. These can be purchased from Stray the Cat, who has a shop at the top of the lighthouse.

After starting the game, try to position the ball in the position I found. You can use the Z button to zoom in, making aiming and adjustments much easier.


Once you find the magic spot, DO NOT move your mouse. Simply tap on the spacebar or whatever button you prefer to drop the ball and bounce it off of the red platform closest to you, causing the ball to land squarely into the center cup. DO NOT hold the button down for any length of time, merely tap it quickly. You are literally just letting the ball go and allowing it to drop on the platform and bounce the rest of the way.

BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN PRESSING THE BUTTON, as you might end up moving your mouse slightly.

This may take a few sessions/attempts, but don't get discouraged! Once you find the spot, you will consistently get the ball into the center cup on every try.

Here is a video of Breedofspeed consistently landing the ball in the center cup using the strategy outlined in this guide. As you can see, once you find the right spot, the game becomes a no-brainer.

Once you finally figure it out, revel in your victory! You have just triumphed over one of the most difficult and frustrating arcade games the Warp Zone has to offer... so far.
