Lush Grass Textures

@piercebuster that could absolutely be the case as there is simply more grass strands on the textures, the pop in might also be more noticable for some.

An honest review:


These look good. And it's impressive work that you managed to do it without decreasing FPS.

However, you get what it says on the tin: more noticeable and lush grass.

...And unfortunately, that means grass pop-up is much more noticeable.

Mazisky's less pop-in mod helps a lot, but only for WH1 race grasses. Any grass that's from WH2 race battlefields suffers very badly from the pop-up.

I recommend anyone considering this simply giving it a try and seeing if you like it. For me, the pop-up was too distracting to keep it on. But they sure look better in pictures.

This should not impact FPS at all as both the amount of polygons and the texture resolution are the same.

I added about twice as many grass strands on the textures themselves (for every grass plane's texture). Because there are no extra polygons this mod will not impact any performance.

Yeah, it is one mod split into 10 parts because of steam file size limitations.

Which one? Your workshop has 10 other 4k mods for ground textures?
