Content:

New high resolution textures for Skaven Lords, Legendary Lords, their weapons, mounts, heroes and rat ogre gladiators. The only exception is skaven assassin hero, possibly will come with another pack.

This time I used new tech for skin textures, you should notice it on heroes, that's exactly there I started applying it. Also changes were made to some mod files which should improve stability of your game using THIS HD pack (should be the most stable in series).

FAQ:

1. Who is next?

VCoast Part 2.

2. Can you improve "X" reskin pack?

No, unless there are reasons for it.

3. How did you do it?

Esrgan + photoshop

4. Why no HD units textures in pack?

Not everyone would like to download 8GB pack, so I split these.

5. Will my PC run it?

It should, as long as you run game smoothly on high-ultra settings

And if for some reason your game will downgrade your graphics settings just make sure to have unlimited memory option on in video settings.

6. Where is Chaos HD?

Delayed till TWW3/RTX3090 in my PC.

PS: Consider opening screenshots by clicking on them with mouse in order to spot the difference. Steam micro images take away some quality.

Once I briefly tried the ground and it did not work. So far all the textures from rigidmodel/warmachines/wh_variantmodels folder may be improved.

How? Is it only models that can use more than 1K textures?
Have you tried changing a campaign texture like the chaos ground? It doesnt do a thing above 1K.

More than that it can use 8k and 16k resolution textures.

Wait, can the game even use any texture resolution above 1K?
I tried on the campaign map and it didnt do a thing with a custom 4K texture.

I notice it only on campaign map. When I have too much HD mods activated my FPS there goes to 22, also with too much of these activated RAM usage goes high (12gb).

But if you play the game with few of these activated you should not get any problems, or possibly if you have better GPU CPU AND MORE RAM.
